Overview

One platform combining a professional public website with a back office for administrators, staff and clients — cases, hearings, documents, tasks, leads and analytics.

The problem

Legal practices often manage cases, hearing dates, documents and client updates across paper files, spreadsheets and phone calls.

Clients have no simple way to check progress, and enquiries from the website are easy to lose.

The solution

A full-stack platform with three roles. Administrators manage cases, clients, team, hearings, tasks and analytics; staff work on assigned cases; clients see their own cases, timelines and shared documents.

Website consultation and contact forms feed a CRM pipeline that converts leads into clients, and a public case-tracking page lets clients check status with a case number and registered mobile number — no login required.

Engineering highlights

Role-based access

Admin, staff and client roles enforced with JWT authentication and server-side access control.

Leads to clients

Website enquiries are captured as CRM leads and converted into client records.

Document management

Upload, categorize and share documents with a per-document client-visibility flag, on storage ready for S3.

Clean API architecture

A versioned REST API with controllers, services and middleware separated across ten data models.
